'He just looks garbage': TalkSPORT pundit launches scathing attack on Chelsea man

There are a lot of people to blame for the disastrous season Chelsea are currently having.

The Blues are in the bottom half of the Premier League table and lost the Carabao Cup final against a very young Liverpool side at the end of February.

Chelsea supporters will blame the club’s owners, which is fair enough, as since they have come in, the 2021 Champions League winners have been on an incredible downward spiral.

At the end of the day, though, the buck stops with the manager and his players, and they have not been good enough this term.

More would have been expected from Mauricio Pochettino, for example, after his success with Tottenham Hotspur the last time he was in England.

Chelsea man has been ‘garbage’

Some at Stamford Bridge have given themselves a good name this season. Take Cole Palmer, for instance.

Despite Chelsea’s struggles, the attacker has been excellent for the Blues. Insiders believe he is now the leading candidate for the PFA Young Player of the Year award.

Others such has Pochettino, on the other hand, have really disappointed. And Jamie O’Hara did not hold back when speaking about the 52-year-old on talkSPORT.

On Pochettino, the former Tottenham midfielder said: “Pochettino can’t stay there, mate, if you’re just going to be mid-table. Come on, everyone’s talking about him being this messiah of a manager. What’s he done? What’s he actually won? Where’s he actually took a team? What has he actually done, though?

“Any manager that’s been at Tottenham, people are going to say, ‘Yeah, but it’s Tottenham.’ He’s now gone to PSG and not won anything apart from the league that they win every year, got binned out of the Champions League every time and he’s gone to Chelsea and he just looks garbage.”

Could Roberto De Zerbi replace Mauricio Pochettino at Chelsea?

If Pochettino cannot turn things around at Chelsea, he is not going to last there.

There is already talk about him being replaced, with it being claimed last month that the Blues are considering Roberto De Zerbi as a potential successor to Pochettino.

It is not inconceivable, then, that Chelsea get rid of Pochettino and bring someone like De Zerbi in before the start of next season.

To avoid something like that happening, the former Tottenham boss needs to get his team higher up the table.
