Meghan Markle suffers awkward wardrobe malfunction in Oscar de la Renta dress

Meghan Markle suffered an awkward wardrobe malfunction in her Oscar de la Renta dress.

The Duchess of Sussex recently paid a sweet visit to a children's hospital in Los Angeles, where she posed for several pictures.

Meghan looked chic in Oscar de la Renta's silk-chiffon Landscape shirtdress that she'd previously worn before.

However, Meghan's dress appeared to have been ripped with a hole on the left side near her waist.

Royal fans were quick to comment on the duchess's latest wardrobe malfunction.

One social media user wrote on X: "Seriously?! Wow, embarrassing."

Another added: "I am not a fan of Meghan’s behaviour but I think it is more a zipper problem than a hole.

"Maybe she did not notice it was not zipped all the way up, or it rolled down because it was too tight?"

A third royal watcher commented: "No did she not check it before she put it on? A quick stitch would have fixed that."

Another social media user agreed, saying: "The shirt is split in the seam."

Finally, a royal fan user wrote: "Oh my!"

The £2,700 dress was paired with pointed black flat shoes by Aquazurra, worth £595.

The mother-of-two accessorised her look with Cartier's Gold Tank Française Watch, worth over £25,000.

Finally, Meghan donned an Ariel Gordon diamond hex Tennis bracelet, which retails for £4,354.

During the visit, Meghan read three of her favourite books to the children - Rosie the Riveter, Pete the Cat, and I Saw a Cat.

She also helped them with STEAM activities connected to each book.
