NASCAR Cook Out 400 Odds: Betting lines for the entire field to win at Martinsville

The odds for this weekend’s NASCAR Cup Series race, the Cook Out 400 at Martinsville Speedway, have been released ahead of Sunday’s event.

Last season, Kyle Larson captured an emotional win for Hendrick Motorsports at the legendary short-track during the spring date, while Ryan Blaney advanced to the Championship 4 with a win during the fall iteration, which serves as the final race before the season finale.

Ahead of this weekend’s race at Martinsville, there’s a bevy of drivers looking to join Larson and Blaney as winners at Martinsville. As the campaign moves forward this weekend, here are the full updated NASCAR Cup Series odds for the Cook Out 400, courtesy ofFanDuel Sportsbook.

Denny Hamlin (+450)

After clinching his spot in the playoffs at Bristol, Hamlin became the second driver (William Byron being the other) to win multiple races in 2024. He utilized an awesome pit stop after a timely caution to capture victory at Richmond.

During last season’s spring race at Martinsville, Hamlin came home P4, and he knows the track well. He’ll have a shot at win No. 3, hogging all the checkered flags as the Cup Series remains in Virginia this weekend.

Kyle Larson (+550)

Kyle Larson

Kyle Larson remains hot on William Byron’s trail this week. He had an eventful night at Richmond, spinning to bring out the final caution of the race, but rebounding to finish P3 after some contact with Bubba Wallace and Martin Truex Jr. to finish his night.

Larson famously has said he’s never expected to win at Martinsville, but that’s exactly what he did in April of 2023. He’ll be looking for a repeat at Martinsville’s spring date this weekend for the No. 5 team.

Ryan Blaney (+700)

Ryan Blaney Martinsville win

Without Martinsville, Ryan Blaney wouldn’t be a NASCAR Cup Series champion. The No. 12 won last fall’s race, locking himself into the Championship 4 and riding that high into Phoenix, where he lifted his first title for Team Penske.

The short-track was awesome for Blaney in 2023, as you can tell, with a P7 finish in the spring race giving him two top tens last season. Richmond wasn’t a great night for Blaney, as he came home P19, so he’ll be looking to rebound this weekend.

Martin Truex Jr. (+750)

Martin Truex Jr. has never been one to not wear his heart on his sleeve, and that’s exactly what we saw when he let off some steam at the end of the Toyota Owners 400. It was his race to win, and a late caution dropped him to a P4 finish, instead of his first victory since 2023.

Thankfully, Martinsville is aptly named for Truex Jr., as he’s a stud at the track. The No. 19 came home P3 at this date in 2023, so he’ll be looking to get some revenge for what happened to him at Richmond by winning this weekend’s race, which is also in Virginia.

Christopher Bell (+850)

Christopher Bell Shriners Children's 500 Phoenix

Christopher Bell is continuing to prove he’s among the top drivers in the Cup Series week-in and week-out. Even though he dealt with some difficulties at Richmond, Bell still ended up with a P6 finish, handling the struggles the No. 20 team faced well.

He’s raced well at Martinsville in the past, but finished P16 at this date in 2023. Nevertheless, Bell already has a win in 2024, so anything else he can grab is just gravy on top of an awesome start to the season.

Joey Logano (+1200)

Joey Logano Phoenix John Hunter Nemechek

Not many drivers have had a worse start to 2024 than Joey Logano. However, that may be turning around, as Logano came close to his first win of the season in Richmond, where he finished as the runner-up on Sunday evening.

Now, the No. 22 will look to do even better at Martinsville. He finished P2 to Kyle Larson at the date last season, so there’s a precedent for the Team Penske veteran to win when the Cup Series goes to the short-track.

William Byron (+1200)

William Byron Phoenix

William Byron battled all night at Richmond, and ended up coming home P7 when it was all said and done. With another solid performance under his belt, he kept his title as the current favorite to win the NASCAR Cup Series title in 2024.

During last season’s spring race at Martinsville, Byron had some trouble, placing P23 in 2023. We’ll see if he can pull a better finish out at a track where Hendrick Motorsports has so much history, especially the No. 24.

Ty Gibbs (+1300)

Ty Gibbs Phoenix

Ty Gibbs feels like he’s about to break through to the other side, capturing his first win in the NASCAR Cup Series. He’s had immense success at Martinsville throughout his racing career, along with some strong showings during his rookie season.

Last spring, Gibbs came home P18, but he raced better than his finishing position would indicate. We’ll see if he can elevate to the next level in Virginia on Sunday afternoon.
