Cleveland (Ohio) Heights tailback Marquise Davis is one of Kentucky’s top skill talent targets in the 2025 recruiting cycle. The top-200 recruit made it to Lexington for junior day in February and recently locked in an official visit with Kentucky for June. The Wildcats have a legitimate shot at winning a big recruitment at tailback.
Another important checkpoint was hit on Wednesday.
The four-star prospect has cut his list to 10 schools with Kentucky making the cut along with Florida, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio State, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas A&M, USC, and West Virginia.
A summer decision is coming for Marquise Davis. The 2025 prospect wants to be a “priority” for his next school. Official visits to Michigan (June 7-9), Kentucky (June 14-16), and Tennessee (June 21-23) are now on deck.
Davis is one of Kentucky’s top remaining uncommitted offensive prospects. Vince Marrow has the Wildcats in good shape, but there is some stiff competition for the Cleveland native. A huge recruiting weekend is coming to Lexington the second weekend of June.
Kentucky currently has five prospects committed in the class of 2025. Tucker Kattus (Cincinnati St. Xavier), Stone Saunders (Harrisburg Bishop McDevitt), Quintin Simmons (Cincinnati Withrow), Brennen Ward (Gahanna Lincoln), and Isaiah West (Philadelphia St. Josep’s Prep) are each offensive recruits.
