Russia struck Kharkiv region with anti-ship missile: Casualty and damage reported

The Russian army tonight, April 3, launched a missile strike on Merefa in the Kharkiv region. As a result, a woman was injured, according to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.

At around 6:20 p.m., the armed forces of the Russian Federation launched a missile strike on Merefa. Buildings of a civilian enterprise were damaged.

It is reported that a fire broke out, windows were shattered, and roofs were damaged in the buildings. A 55-year-old woman also sustained injuries.

According to preliminary data, the attack was carried out with an anti-ship missile Kh-59MK. A pre-trial investigation has been initiated into the violation of laws and customs of war.

Russian forces shell cities in Ukraine

On April 2, Russian forces attacked the village of Novoosynove in the Kupiansk district. A 59-year-old man was killed on the spot, while his 11-year-old son died in the hospital on April 3.

Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, stated that Russian occupiers intensified shelling in the Kharkiv region, affecting several districts of the region.

Additionally, as a result of overnight Russian missile and bomb strikes on Selydove and Mykolaivka in the Donetsk region, over 50 buildings were destroyed, and 3 people were injured.
