Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie Are 'Ready for Green Light' From King Charles to Help Charities 'Crying Out' for Royal Backing

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, who are styled and titled royals, are being championed by many as "ideal" for stepping up to fill in the "major absence" of senior royals.

"I know that Bea and Eugenie are willing to do more and would happily help out," royal expert Phil Dampier shared. "They just need to be given the green light."

This comes amid reports suggesting that royal-backed charities are "crying out" for help in King Charles III's "slimmed-down monarchy" that finds himself and Kate, Princess of Wales, sidelined as they battled cancer.

"Yes, they are daughters of Andrew but his misdemeanors are not their fault and they are high up in the line of succession," he added. "Many organizations and charities are crying out for a royal patron and would welcome them. They already have 30 or so between them so why not a few more?"

He continued: "They are both pleasant intelligent women who are now wives and mothers with experience of life. Beatrice and Eugenie are grandchildren of the late Queen and as such would get a lot of respect from the public."

The commentator also observed that he "can also see a role for the children of Edward and Sophie, Louise and James."

"With the King and Princess of Wales battling cancer and with Harry and Meghan and Prince Andrew off the scene, the slimmed-down monarchy is looking a bit thin," Dampier pointed out. "The late Queen andPrince Philip had over 1,500 patronages between them and most of them have not now got a royal patron."

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie have long been suggested as 'senior royal material' from numerous analysts. MEGA

"It seems mean that the girls aren’t being used at all when they have made it clear they want to be of service, especially when Prince Andrew has been accepted back into the fold," a family insider revealed. "They have done nothing wrong and they shouldn’t be visited with the sins of their father."

Another confidant of the royal family as a whole spilled: "Charles is very fond of the York girls but everyone, including them, accepts there is no place for them to be full-time working royals. And as the late Queen Elizabeth made clear, being a part-time working royal isn’t an option."

The princesses are fully styled and titled members of the monarchy but have never been asked, either by the late Queen or King Charles, to become senior working royals. This is despite Beatrice, along with her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and their daughter Sienna, living in a four-bedroom apartment in St James Palace. That ancient fortress is the senior and official seat of the British monarchy, which places the elder York princess at the epicenter of the entire institution.
