Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher in agreement about Arsenal ahead of Brighton clash

Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher are both in agreement over how Arsenal will do against Brighton & Hove Albion this Saturday.

The Gunners returned to winning ways last night with a 2-0 win against Luton Town, taking Arsenal back to the top of the Premier League standings with Liverpool set to play later tonight.

With Emile Smith Rowe winning praise from supporters, it was a fantastic evening for the north London side, who will now focus their attention on the south coast ahead of a trip to Brighton.

And speaking on Stick to Football, Neville and Carragher were both in agreement over what they think will happen at the Amex Stadium when Arsenal take on the Seagulls in what will be a must-win game.

Despite some more than unusual comments from the pair this season surrounding Arsenal, both Neville and Carragher believe the north London side will come away with a 2-0 win against Brighton.

Having already beaten Roberto De Zerbi’s side already this season, doing the double over Brighton would be a huge for Arsenal, especially with the Gunners failing to do just that last year.

Neville said when asked to give his prediction: “Arsenal win I think, 2-0, clean sheet,” with Carragher agreeing and adding: “No one can get at them can they?”

Arsenal fans know first hand how annoying Brighton can be to take on, with the Seagulls arguably delivering the final blow last year in the north London side’s failed Premier League title push.

Coupled with other poor results over the years, and it’s no real surprise why some supporters might be worried about facing Brighton this weekend on the south coast.

However, Arsenal’s form is simply too good to ignore, and the Gunners will feel confident at the Amex Stadium this weekend in taking on Brighton in a game that could give Mikel Arteta and his side a major boost in the title race.
