Rasmus Hojlund has already completed football, according to list he made 11 years ago

Everyone at Manchester United can’t get enough of Rasmus Hojlund.

The Danish forward has been one of the shining lights of the season under Erik ten Hag, even if the beginning of his career at Old Trafford was somewhat rocky.

The supremely talented striker is going to be an absolute world-beater for the Red Devils – if he’s not already. The 21-year-old looks destined to be a player that will stay around Carrington for years and seemingly cement legendary status in Manchester.

Hojlund has always had United in his heart, a fan from a young age.

Rasmus Hojlund made a list when he was just 10 years old

Speaking on an episode of ‘Keepsakes’ by TNT Sport, the wonderkid was tasked with bringing to the table five precious items to do with his football career the Dane owns to showcase to fans.

The first was simply incredible. Hojlund produced a signed piece of scrap paper, which had four ‘goals’ he wanted to achieve throughout the entirety of his football career.

“My first one on my list is my own list of goals,” he began. “As you can see this is a picture I made to hang up in my old room in Denmark. I’m very goal-oriented.

“I set some goals when I was 10. I think I was 10, which I wanted to achieve in my football career and, as you can see, I crossed them over for which ones I have already achieved.”

So how did the list go?

“I think I can remember all of them,” Hojlund starts counting them down…

  • Number Four: “Getting my first pro-contract.”
  • Number Three: “Playing first-team football.”
  • Number Two: “Get to the national team”

So what was number one? The last on his list? Hojlund said proudly:

Number One: “The last one was to play for Manchester United one day.”

“Which I’ve also achieved now, so yeah I might do a new list. It’s still in a frame back home in my old room in Denmark in my parent’s house.”

The forward has effectively completed everything he’s set out to do in football, and you can’t help but love it as a Manchester United fan.

For Hojlund to have United above his country shows how much he loves the Red Devils. We beg that if anyone becomes a United legend… please let it be him.

Rasmus also spoke about his first-ever Manchester United kit and some of his other treasured memories in football. The full video can be viewed below:
