Yeysk airfield

In the city of Yeysk, there is a joint basing airfield. It houses the 570th aircraft repair plant of the Russian Ministry of Defense. At present, this airfield is one of the strategically important facilities, as it is used by Russia for attacks on Ukrainian territory.

Earlier, we reported that guerrillas had reconnoitered the airfield in Yeysk, which Russia uses for strikes against Ukraine.

By the way, this airfield has repeatedly been a target for attacks due to the deployment of Russian strategic aviation there. For example, in February 2023, explosions were heard near the Russian Yeysk airfield.

In mid-October 2022, a military aircraft crashed into a residential building in the Russian city of Yeysk. Over 10 people were killed.
