Situation at front

As a reminder, the Russian occupiers intensified their assaults at the front in winter. In particular, the Russians managed to capture Avdiivka and some neighboring villages. However, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding their positions near Avdiivka, preventing the enemy from advancing further.

In addition, the Ukrainian military also reported that the occupiers wanted to capture Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region. Heavy fighting also continues near Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian troops eliminated over 445,000 Russians since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
