Russians attack energy infrastructure in Odesa region overnight, damage reported

Last night, on April 5, Russian terrorists attacked energy infrastructure facilities in the Odesa region, according to the Ukrenergo energy company.

"At night, Russians attacked energy infrastructure facilities in the Odesa region again, damaging some equipment. There were no power outages," Ukrenergo writes.

Electricity situation

In the Kharkiv region, hourly blackout schedules have been in effect since 5:40 a.m. In Kharkiv, emergency blackouts have been introduced since 6 a.m. due to a technological accident in the regional power company networks. As of this morning, about 550,000 consumers in the region are without power. Electric transport has also been partially suspended.

In particular, consumption limits for industrial consumers are in effect in Kryvyi Rih.

Night attack on Ukraine on April 5

On the night of April 5, the Russians used 2 anti-aircraft guided missiles against Ukraine:

  • 2 S-300/S-400 anti-aircraft guided missiles;
  • 3 Iskander-M ballistic missiles;
  • 13 attack UAVs of the Shahed type.

While repelling the attack, Ukrainian air defense destroyed 13 Russian Shaheds in Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
