There have been 72 combat clashes on the battlefield, Ukrainian soldiers repelled Russian attacks on the left bank of the Dnieper River and struck an enemy drone control point, according to data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian shelling of Ukraine
During the day, 72 combat clashes were recorded. Overall, the enemy delivered 10 missile strikes and 67 airstrikes, conducted 97 shelling attacks from rocket artillery systems on our troops' positions and civilian settlements.
As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population. Multi-story and private houses, as well as other infrastructure objects, have been destroyed and damaged.
Situation at frontlines
In the Volyn and Polissia direction, the operational situation remains unchanged, with no significant changes observed in the formation of enemy offensive groupings.
In the Siversk and Slobozhanske direction, the enemy maintains military presence in border areas, conducts sabotage-reconnaissance activities, shells civilian settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine.
The enemy carried out airstrikes in the vicinity of the populated areas of Svesa in the Sumy region and Kruhle in the Kharkiv region. Artillery and mortar shelling by the enemy affected about 20 populated areas, including Mykhalchyna-Sloboda in the Chernihiv region; Stara Huta, Rozhkovychi, Khodyne, and Hrabovske in the Sumy region.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions. The enemy carried out an airstrike in the area of the populated area of Berestove in the Kharkiv region. Approximately 15 populated areas, including Synkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, and Kotliarivka in the Kharkiv region, came under artillery and mortar fire.
In the Lyman direction, our soldiers repelled 2 enemy attacks in the area of the populated area of Terny in the Donetsk region, where the enemy attempted to break through our troops' defense.
Over 10 populated areas were affected by artillery and mortar shelling, including Nevske in the Luhansk region and Terny, Yampolivka, and Torske in the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, our soldiers repelled over 10 attacks in the areas of the populated areas of Andriivka, Zelenopillia, Klishchiivka, and Ivanivske in the Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to improve their tactical position.
The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of the populated areas of Chasiv Yar, Zalizne, and New York in the Donetsk region. Over 10 populated areas, including Kalynivka and Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region, came under artillery and mortar fire.
In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 18 attacks in the areas of the populated areas of Berdychiv, Umanske, Yasnobrodivka, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with aviation support, attempted to dislodge our units from occupied positions.
Approximately 10 populated areas, including Novokalynove, Semenivka, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region, were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of the populated areas of Heorhiivka, Kostiantynivka, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with aviation support, attempted 10 times to breach our troops' defense.
Additionally, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of the populated areas of Krasnohorivka, Urozhaine, Vodyane, Vuhledar, and Katerynivka in the Donetsk region. Over 10 populated areas, including Heorhiivka, Paraskoviivka, and Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region, came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.
In the Orikhiv direction, during the day, the enemy, with aviation support, made one unsuccessful attempt to attack the positions of our troops in the area of the populated area of Staryi Maiorsk in the Donetsk region. Aviation strikes were recorded in the area of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Approximately 20 populated areas, including Poltavka, Malynivka, Chervone, Bilohirya, and Shcherbaky in the Zaporizhzhia region, were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.
In the Kherson direction, the occupiers carried out aviation strikes in the area of the populated area of Zmiivka in the Kherson region. Over 10 populated areas, including Zolota Balka, Tokarivka, Inzhenerne, Tiahynka in the Kherson region, and the city of Kherson, came under artillery and mortar fire.
Situation on the left bank of the Dnipro River
The enemy persists in its intention to dislodge our units from the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnipro River.
During the day, there were 14 unsuccessful attacks on the positions of our troops in the area of the settlement of Krynky in the Kherson region.
Russian losses
During the day, the Defense Forces aviation struck 9 personnel concentration areas and 1 anti-aircraft missile complex of the enemy.
Rocket forces units targeted 1 command post, 2 air defense assets, 1 artillery piece, 1 UAV control point, and 2 areas of enemy armament and military equipment concentration.
It is worth reminding that the total number of losses in the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion amounts to 445,900 military personnel.
