Madonna, so famous she doesn’t need a last name, is used to ruffling feathers, after a 40-year career that has seen the “Queen of Pop” cause controversy, not just for her songs, but for what’s been termed a “salacious” lifestyle, too.
The 65-year-old is one of the best selling artists of all time, selling in excess of 300 million records globally over her four-decade career, that’s culminated with the singer’sThe Celebration Tour – the ongoing twelfth concert tour visiting cities in North America, Europe and South America, with 81 shows.
The career-spanning, retrospective tour, which includes some of the songstress' greatest hits, including "Live to Tell" and "Like a Prayer", has seen the queen reign supreme, with Forbes calling it “dazzling” and the guardian.com calling it a “multimedia spectacle.”

And to prove the songstress still has just what it takes to cause a stir, her latest Instagram post, captioned, "Safada is coming to Rio." showcases her provocatively posing in a leather corset and fishnets, in a series of shots to promote the historic free concert that will see her wrap up her tour in Rio de Janeiro on 4 May. Taking place at Copacabana Beach, the event is her thank you to fans for supporting her career since the 80s.
The new behind-the-scenes pictures are from her appearance in a commercial promoting the 100th anniversary of the Brazilian bank "Itaú" which was shot at the Palais Garnier in Paris last year. For the sultry shoot, the Like a Virgin hitmaker paired the sexy black corset with a massive slack of eye-catching pearl necklaces, sleek leather gloves, and wore her platinum blonde locks in crimped mermaid-like waves. Madonna hit all her best poses in the over-exposed snaps as she was seen seductively popping candy in her mouth as she gazed up into the camera.
With more than 354K likes and 20k comments, fans went wild over the sexy photo shoot. One fan commented: "Right next door to where I live… Couldn’t ask for a better gift from my queen! Rio is anxiously waiting for you!!" Another gushed: "We are a fortunate generation. Living the @madonna era. big love and respect to you." And a third sweetly commented: "The greatest of them all!!!!!!"
