March Town make it seven games unbeaten while Wisbech Town and Parson Drove are both beaten at home

March Town stretched their unbeaten run to seven games this afternoon while there were defeats for both Wisbech Town and Parson Drove.

The Hares drew 1-1 at home to Easington Sports in UCL Premier Division South, Wisbech Town suffered a 3-1 defeat to Loughborough Students in UCL Premier Division North and Parson Drove suffered were beaten 4-2 by Great Yarmouth Town in Thurlow Nunn First Division North.

Ash Taylor's side were forced to come from behind to pick up a share of the spoils at the GER.

Leam Howards gave the struggling visitors the lead 13 minutes before half-time but Craig Gillies redressed the balance from the penalty spot two minutes into the second half.

With St Neots winning 2-0 at Desborough Town, the Hares drop down a place to fifth in the league standings going into their final two league games.

In the Premier Division South, there were four goals in nine first-half minutes as a clinical Loughborough Students outfit triumphed at Fountain Fresh Park.

Loughborough opened the scoring after 32 minutes before adding a second goal six minutes later.

Ethan Wilson hauled the Fenmen back into affairs a minute later before the Students went straight up the other end to add a third and that's the way it remained until the final whistle.

Alex Street's side remains 15th in the league table but still have the potential to finish as high as 13th if they can win their final game of the season next weekend.

In the Thurlow Nunn First Division North, league leaders Great Yarmouth Town continued their march towards the league title with a 4-2 win at Parson Drove.

The Bloaters went 2-0 up before Alex Vincent reduced the arrears with his 12th goal of the season.

Yarmouth scored twice more before the break to take total control of the proceedings but Drove took the second-half honours after Nick Castellan added a second for the hosts.

March Town travel to Bugbrooke St.Michaels on Tuesday night and end their regulation season by hosting third-placed Racing Club Warwick at the GER on Saturday.

Wisbech Town finish their league campaign by making the trip to Heanor Town on Saturday.

On Wednesday night, Parson Drove are in home action against Harwich and Parkeston.
