Real Housewives of Orange County alum Lauri Peterson, 63, is mourning the loss of her son. The former Bravo star took to social media to share the tragic news with her fans. Her son, Joshua-Michael Phillip Waring, sadly passed away on March 31 at the age of 35.
Following Lauri’s son’s passing on Easter Sunday, many of the Real Housewives of Orange County star’s fans have taken to the comments section of her Instagram post to share their condolences. Josh left behind his mother, and two sisters, Sophie and Ashley Waring. The family were former stars of Bravo‘s RHOC back in seasons 1 to 4 in the early 2000s.
Lauri Peterson’s son dies
Following the untimely loss of her 35-year-old son, Josh, Lauri took to Instagram to share the tragic news with her fans.
The mom-of-three explained how Josh “left this Earth” on Easter Sunday.
She said: “Josh fought every single day for most of his adult life, for his life, but this past Sunday, the challenge was too great.”
‘Every fiber in my body hurts’
Sharing a tribute to her late son, Lauri said her “heart is shattered.”
The former RHOC star explained: “No one can ever prepare you for this feeling of such deep loss. Every fiber in my body hurts.”
Lauri reflected on Josh’s childhood, sharing how it: “…was filled with deep intellect, humor, pranks, athletics, snow boarding, body boarding mountain hikes, reading, friends and his love for music.”
She added how Josh went on to become a father himself, as well as dealing with some battles in his older years: “Even during adult hardship, Josh continued to maintain his sense of humor, continued to be optimistic, continued to be kind to others, defended those that were unable to defend themselves and continued to love his family so so much! He received the most joy, pride and purpose through his daughter Kennady and watching her grow and thrive over the years.”
She concluded her post: “…Josh I love you so much and I will miss you terribly! I will forever be your ‘Mama Bear & Mama Dukes’ and every time the clock turns to 11:11, I will expect your call to tell me to make a wish! What will I wish for now? My heart is with you and I pray you have found the peace that you so deserve. Heaven has gained the coolest angel and you have gained your freedom at last sweet boy. Love always and forever, Mom.”
