'Didn't you get tossed out?' Lauren Boebert mocked for bragging about Trump 'house party'

Congresswoman Lauren Boebert (R-CO) on Sunday was hit with a barrage of ridicule after she bragged about a Donald Trump "house party" where he says he raised $50 million in one night.

Boebert, who has faced numerous scandals including being kicked out of a musical for inappropriate behavior that was caught on the security footage for the theater, took to social media on Sunday to make a claim about Trump's fundraising versus Joe Biden's numbers. It's worth noting that Biden and Democrats brought in more than $90 million in March and have more than double what Trump has, according to the New York Times' reporting.

But Boebert wanted to focus on one specific fundraiser.

"It took Biden two former Presidents, Lizzo and Stephen Colbert to raise $25,000,000 in one night," Boebert said on her social media. "Trump threw a house party with no headliners and raised $50,000,000." That $50 million has not yet been verified.

She then added, "It’s pretty clear where the momentum is."

But those responding to Boebert's claims didn't have her back.

"The Biden-Harris campaign raised $90 million in March. Trump raised $65 million. The Biden-Harris Campaign has $192 million cash-on-hand. Trump has $93 million on hand," one user, @ChidiNwatu, wrote in response. "It's pretty clear the only momentum Trump is seeing is your hands."

@GOPisComplicit pointed to the problems Boebert and her family have had with the law.

"Momentum is here with your crime family," the account wrote on X. "Mug shots for everyone."

Another user, @Konola4Colorado, noted the apparent coordinated messaging effort after Trump's recent "party."

"LOL Now I know that you just repeat anything you are told," they wrote. "Trump's daughter in law posted the exact same thing. Did they slip a note under your door so that you would know what you say?"

@Rekat1, who identifies as a veteran on the platform, said, "How would you know, didn’t you get tossed out? Wait, that was another party for Trump!"

Indeed, Raw Story recently reported that multiple sources told CNN's Melanie Zanona that Boebert appeared to be so inebriated at a fundraiser late last year that servers refused to give her any additional booze.
