Gemma Collins has revealed the inspiration behind her wedding dress, and it's a mix of Lady Gaga and Posh Spice.

The 43-year-old former TOWIE star is currently planning her wedding to new fiancé Rami Hawash and shared that she's drawing inspiration from glamorous A-listers.

The couple got engaged during a New Year trip to the Maldives, where Rami surprised Gemma with a romantic beachfront proposal and a "huge" ring. Now back home in Essex, they're busy planning their big day and choosing the perfect dress.

"I would love something similar to the lace one Lady Gaga wore in House Of Gucci," Gemma exclusively told OK! from her Chelmsford home, before asking her fiancé: "What would you like to see me in, Rami, something tight?"

Lady Gaga's House of Gucci gown was featured in the scenes of Patrizia Reggiani's 1973 wedding to Maurizio Gucci, played by Adam Driver. The white dress had an A-line silhouette with a sweetheart neckline, lace floral detailing and sheer long sleeves.

However, Speaking to the Mirror and OK! magazine, Gemma said she is also looking to add some extra glamour to her special day, taking inspiration from a young Victoria Beckham (then Victoria Adams). She went on: "I might even go back to my roots and wear something really Essex-like and over the top. At the moment I'm thinking something Italian-themed, then a 'wow' one with a huge train. I might even recreate Victoria Beckham's wedding moment with the tiara, I loved that."

Victoria famously wore a specially-commissioned gold and diamond tiara at her 1999 wedding to David Beckham. It was made by Irish jewellery designer Slim Barrett and later featured in an exhibition at the Victoria an Albert Museum.

Given all she's got on her mood board, it's lucky Gemma is hoping to have three separate wedding ceremonies. "Everyone keeps asking us, 'When is the wedding?' But we're not going to do it until 2026 and it'll likely be a winter wedding. Rami turns 50 that year too, so it'll be a huge celebration. I spoke to an astrologer and they said that is the luckiest year to get married. I think we're actually going to have three weddings. The main one will be somewhere fabulous in the UK, the second maybe abroad, and the third will be the formal one for our closest friends and family."

Rami whisked Gemma away for a birthday holiday, and she admits she had no idea there was a lot more going on behind the scenes. The couple were tucking into a sushi dinner - Gemma’s favourite - when Rami got up to go to the bathroom. When he got back, he told her to look over to the beach, where he had set up lights reading ‘Will you marry me?’.

Ahead of the proposal, Rami went all out by arranging for thousands of roses, Gemma's preferred bloom, to be transported from Male, the capital city, ensuring the setting was idyllic for his bride-to-be. Roll on 2026!
