Arsenal now ready to offer new contract to 'world-class' £20m star, he wants to stay

Arsenal have been proactive in recent months in handing out new contracts to key players, and Leandro Trossard could be next to be rewarded for his form.

The Belgian international only joined Arsenal last year from Brighton & Hove Albion in a £20m deal, yet Trossard’s impact with the north London side has been nothing of sensational.

This season alone has seen Trossard bag 12 goals in all competitions including key strikes against the likes of Liverpool and FC Porto, with the forward lauded as ‘world-class’ in recent weeks.

Whilst not a guaranteed starter, Trossard’s impact from the bench in big games has been nothing short of incredible, with the forward also proving he can deliver in the major fixtures.

Indeed, Trossard’s arrival has been one of the key factors behind Arsenal’s title drive this season, and the winger has more than earned a new contract with the Gunners.

Few Arsenal fans would have predicted Trossard to impress as much as he has since joined the club over 12 months ago, with the Belgian turning into a key performer for the Gunners.

And with the winger now likey to sign a new contract with Arsenal, there’s a real chance that Trossard can offer the north London side more with his future secured.

Arteta is clearly a huge fan of Trossard with Arsenal supporters also keen on the Belgian, and the attacker could play a key role for the Gunners in the years to come with a new deal under his belt.
