‘Defensively they are’: Paul Ince predicts who’ll win title - Arsenal, Liverpool or Manchester City

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City are the three teams fighting for the Premier League title this season.

With just seven more rounds of matches left in the Premier League this season, there is nothing much separating Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City.

Arsenal are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment. Mikel Arteta’s side have picked up 71 points from 31 matches, level on points with Liverpool, who are second.

City, who have won the league title for the past three seasons, are third. The Citizens have picked up 70 points from 31 games.

Paul Ince has given his verdict on which team will win the Premier League title this season.

The former Manchester United midfielder has said that he would love Liverpool to win it.

That is because Ince played for Liverpool. However, he thinks that Arsenal will get the job done in the end because they are defensively very strong.

Paul Ince predicts Premier League title winners between Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City

Ince said on talkSPORT (5:16 pm, April 8, 2024): “I think Arsenal will win it. I just think defensively they are more assured than the other two teams. I obviously want Liverpool to win it.”

What Jurgen Klopp said about Arsenal after Manchester United match

Liverpool failed to win against Manchester United away from home at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Sunday.

Mohamed Salah’s goal from the penalty spot late in the game saw the Reds salvage a point from the encounter.

Liverpool were the better team and had a lot of chances to score, and after the game, manager Jurgen Klopp said that Arsenal would win against United if the Red Devils played against the Gunners like they did against the Merseyside club.

Arsenal will take on United away from home at Old Trafford in the Premier League in May.

TEAMtalk quotes Klopp as saying: “Arsenal is a good football team and if [Man Utd] play like they did today, Arsenal win that game. I’m 100 percent sure, I’m really sorry to say that but this is matter of fact.

“We should have won both games (FA cup quarter-final clash as well), but we didn’t. That’s our fault.”
