Lisa Vanderpump ordered a $500 pet duck to keep one of her current stray ducks happy in a wild move. She has seven dogs, little horses, and several ducks at Villa Rosa… One more won’t hurt, right?
The Vanderpump Rules star will soon open her home to fans’ eyes when Vanderpump Villa hits Bravo. At the same mansion lives dogs, horses and an actual duck couple that Lisa Vanderpump played Cupid for.
Lisa Vanderpump has a pet duck
Lisa Vanderpump had a mallard duck come to her home, Villa Rosa, with her husband. With swans, little horses and seven dogs already, the duck was welcomed with open arms by Vanderpump.
She told The Wall Street Journal, “This duck gave birth to little ducklings, it was so sweet, and the husband just buggered off, just left her. And there she was, as a mommy duck, it was really a lovely experience.”
“We would see them every day and protect them from owls, and you hear these statistics of how they’ll die because they get taken. And they were all perfect, and then they all left her,” Lisa added.

Pump Rules star plays duck Cupid
Lisa revealed how there was one duck left all by herself, and she couldn’t help but want to support her. She revealed, “We flew in a husband for her, like a mail-order husband.”
The star added how she decided to spent hundreds on trying to make her new stray duck happy. “I said to Ken, ‘How much will it cost to get this duck there?” It’s like $500, but she’s not happy.”
“I’m thinking, ‘Are we the only people on the planet that would get a mail-order duck just so this stray duck is happy?” Yeah, that’s us,” Vanderpump continued to admit.
She ‘indulges in animals’ most
Everyone knows Lisa is obsessed with her dog, Puffy, but she has six others. The reality TV star has one Maltese named Lollypop, as well as American Cocker Spaniel, Schnooky – a wedding anniversary gift.
The Bravo producer also has a Golden Retriever named Rumpy, who ended up falling in love with an older woman, Avery, another Golden Retriever. It seems Lisa has a seriously great side hustle as Cupid!
