Fabrizio Romano revealed earlier today that ‘concrete’ talks have taken place between Liverpool and Amorim about a move to Anfield this summer.
Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg then revealed that there is an agreement in principle between the two parties now.
All signs look positive now, and Tottenham star Pedro Porro‘s comments on Amorim will further assure Liverpool fans that he is the right man for the job.
The Spurs defender, who played 98 times under Amorim, told DAZN: “Everyone knows what a good coach he is, he does things very well, he’s a great coach.
“I wish him all the best and have nothing but good things to say about him.”
