A notorious stretch of road has been fully closed following an accident this morning.
Dubbed one of Britain’s most dangerous carriageways, the A252 Canterbury Road is currently shut between Faversham Lane, Charing, and Green Lane, Challock.
The route serves as a go-to for villagers heading towards Ashford, Canterbury and Faversham, with drivers being warned to expect delays.
Work took place in 2020 to improve the safety of the road thanks to a £2.1 million scheme.
Police and ambulance crews have been contacted for comment.
