How likely Diogo Jota, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Alisson Becker are to play for Liverpool against Atalanta tomorrow

Liverpool welcomed back four previously injured players to full training on Tuesday.

The Reds have been without Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alisson Becker and Diogo Jota since February. Stefan Bajcetic, meanwhile, has barely played at all over the last 12 months.

Liverpool have obviously done well in the absence of the quartet, with their returns set to boost a Premier League title push.

Before they get back to domestic action though, the Reds have a Europa League quarter-final against Atalanta to contend with. Tomorrow’s first-leg at Anfield represents a good chance to get a foothold in the tie.

Having returned to the pitches at the AXA Training Centre yesterday, some Liverpool fans will be hopeful of seeing Trent, Alisson, Jota or Bajcetic feature in tomorrow’s game. And there’s been an early indication of whether that’s likely to happen.

Who’s set to be available for Liverpool vs Atalanta

Throughout the last couple of months, we’ve really been waiting for this moment. It has felt like if Liverpool could just hang in there until they had their full squad available, they could really made a go of the final weeks of the season.

Unfortunately, Jurgen Klopp doesn’t quite have all of his players back, though. News has come through that while others returned, Wataru Endo missed training yesterday.

With Klopp set to face the press later on today, we’ll learn whether Endo’s issue will rule him out of tomorrow’s game.

We’re unlikely to need further clarification on whether Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Jota or Bajcetic will play, however.

The Athletic have already pretty much ruled the quartet out of the clash with Atalanta. They claim that the match is ‘likely to come too soon’ for any of them.

Instead, it’s said to be ‘deemed more realistic’ that we’ll see any of the returning players for Sunday’s Premier League tie with Crystal Palace.

Any more team news for Liverpool vs Atalanta

Aside from Endo, it looks like Liverpool will have the rest of their team ready to play tomorrow.

The big existing question mark was whether Ibrahima Konate would be fit to feature. The centre-back seemingly missed the weekend’s draw against Manchester United as a precaution.

Klopp has since been told that he should have put Konate on the pitch anyway at Old Trafford. However, if the Frenchman wasn’t fully fit, that would have been pointless.

Thankfully, Konate was seen participating in the full session and as a result should hopefully be fine for Thursday and beyond. The gang is almost all back together. Not long now.
