Prince William breaks silence with first message since Kate's cancer announcement

Prince William has broken his silence by posting his first message on social media since Princess Kate announced she had cancer.

The Princess of Wales released a video message on March 22 revealing she had undergone preventative chemotherapy after cancer was found in tests conducted following her abdominal surgery at the London Clinic earlier this year.

The video which was accompanied by the caption: "A message from Catherine, The Princess of Wales" was the last social media post on the Kensington Royal's X, formerly known as Twitter, page.

However, today Prince William broke his silence to send a heartfelt message to footballer Rachel Daly.
