Report: What Sergio Ramos's agent has done in America after links with Inter Miami

Sergio Ramos’s agent was reportedly in America earlier this month amid rumors that Inter Miami are interested in signing the Spanish legend.

The veteran defender has been linked with a move to MLS for what feels like forever, with Ramos the latest superstar name to reportedly emerge on Inter Miami’s radar after last year’s arrival of Lionel Messi.

With the Herons expected to spend big again this summer, Ramos could be a realistic signing for Inter Miami if the Florida franchise can work around the salary cap with new rules set to be implemented.

And according to Relevo, Ramos’ agent was in America over Easter to discuss a potential transfer with MLS clubs, though no specific team has yet been mentioned.

Given Inter Miami’s links to Ramos in recent months, there’s a strong chance that the defender’s agent was in Florida to talk shop about a move to Messi’s superstar squad in the summer.

Indeed, Ramos and Messi played together at PSG with the pair winning two Ligue 1 titles alongside the likes of Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Marco Veratti.

And another reunion could now be in store for Ramos and Messi, with Inter Miami a logical destination for the 38-year-old center-back at this stage in his career.

At the age of 38, Ramos is at a stage where a move to a more relaxed league compared to La Liga would be a logical step for the legendary Spanish defender.

And MLS and Inter Miami could be an ideal fit for Ramos, with the likes of Messi, Luis Suarez and Sergio Busquets all at home already in Florida.

With a top manager in Tata Martino also at the helm, Ramos will enjoy his time at Inter Miami if a deal can be done, with this update suggesting that something is in the works.
