'Really happy': Jurgen Klopp says there's something he's really looking forward to doing at Liverpool next week

Jurgen Klopp has been speaking to the media ahead of facing Atalanta tomorrow and revealed what he is looking forward to next week.

Liverpool face Atalanta tomorrow in a game that won’t be easy for the Reds. Atalanta are a notoriously difficult side to beat.

They’ve also caused problems to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side in the past, getting the better of the Reds in a 2-0 victory on their last trip to Anfield.

That was in the Champions League back in the 2020/21 season when there were no supporters allowed in the stadium. This time around, things will of course be completely different.

Klopp will have the backing of the Anfield crowd in what is going to be one of his last ever European nights in charge of the Reds.

That being said, the Liverpool boss has admitted that he is looking forward to doing something next week with the club.

The Europa League is weirdly the only trophy Klopp is yet to lift at Liverpool. So there may perhaps be even more motivation to end-up lifting the trophy aloft in Dublin on the 22nd May.

But speaking ahead of the game, Klopp seemed relaxed in his press conference ahead of Liverpool’s game against Atalanta.

He clearly outlined what he expects from Atalanta, and also revealed what he is looking forward to doing with the Reds.

“I think it’s a great club,” Klopp said as per the club’s official YouTube channel.

“We were only in Bergamo unfortunately when Covid was really pretty bad and we went out to play football again.

“But we could see how difficult the situation was so I’m really happy that we face now Atalanta and go to Atalanta to Bergamo as well in a much better place with a full stadium as well and stuff like this because we didn’t experience that yet.”
