Multiple people were shot at an Eid al-Fitr celebration in West Philadelphia, on Wednesday, according to local news outlets.
Several people were reportedly injured and multiple guns were siezed at the scene, according to WTXF. There were hundreds of people attending the event, observing the end of Ramadan - a holy month of fasting and prayer for Muslims.
Abdallah Legh, the manager of a nearby business, said that more than a dozen children entered his shop seeking shelter, after he heard at least three gun shots.
"Everybody was running," he told WTXF.
When reached for comment by HNGN the Philadelphia Police Department was not able to confirm any information regarding the investigation.
