With the Android app Document Reader Pro, you can open almost all document types on your Android device including Word documents, Excel/CSV tables. PowerPoint presentations as well as PDF and TXT files are also included.
This makes the annoying problem of receiving an important Microsoft Office file on the go, for example from a colleague or your boss, and not being able to open it on your smartphone and therefore not being able to read it, a thing of the past.

Document Reader Pro normally costs £1.69/€1.99 on Google Play (in autumn 2023 the price was even higher). According to the manufacturer’s description, the app is free of advertising or in-app purchases, but user comments contradict this!
The download is 12MB in size so you don’t need much free space to add it. The app runs on Android devices with Android 7 or higher and is currently only available in English.
User reviews: Consistently positive
The judgement of users on Google Play is just positive. The app currently has a rating of 3.6 out of a possible 5 stars.
In autumn 2023, this app still had 4.5 out of 5 stars. There are now also some negative comments on Google Play. However, as the app is currently free, you can try it out without risk and then decide at your leisure whether the app is worthwhile for you.
