Lara Trump's RNC sends out robocalls pushing lies about 'massive fraud' in 2020: report

NATIONAL HARBOR, MARYLAND - FEBRUARY 22: Lara Trump speaks during the Conservative Political Action Conference

The Republican National Committee reportedly sent out robocalls to voters pushing false claims about "massive fraud" committed in 2020.

The new RNC, led by new chair Michael Whatley and new co-chair Lara Trump, is pushing the unsubstantiated theories that the last election was rigged in order to mobilize the electorate come November 5.

“We all know the problems. No photo IDs, unsecured ballot drop boxes, mass mailing of ballots, and voter rolls chock full of deceased people and non-citizens are just a few examples of the massive fraud that took place,” according to the recorded RNC call, as reported by CNN's KFIle. “If Democrats have their way, your vote could be canceled out by someone who isn’t even an American citizen.”

“I’m sure you agree with co-chair Trump that we cannot allow the chaos and questions of the 2020 election to ever happen again,” according to the call.

The outlet reported that the anti-robocall application Nomorobo caught hold of it and estimated 145,000 calls featuring the recorded fraud message were sent out between April 1-7.

The fact that the RNC is propping up debunked lies about the 2020 election is a marked shift from how the committee treated such claims under former chairwoman Ronna McDaniel.

Lara Trump has a long history of echoing his election fraud claims, according to a CNN KFile analysis of her past statements as a commentator and surrogate for the former president.

In reality, however, every case that the former president and his allies filed in various battleground states after the election defeat ended in a loss.
