Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba stated that if those responsible for supplying Ukraine with Patriots spent just one night in Kharkiv, decisions regarding the systems would be made quickly.
Kuleba noted that this night, terrorists launched over 80 rockets and UAVs against Ukraine. The enemy primarily targeted critically important civilian infrastructure objects. Specifically, six of the aerial targets were ballistic missiles.
The Minister emphasized that Ukraine is the only country in the world experiencing ballistic strikes. Currently, our country's territory hosts American Patriot air defense systems.
"I am confident that if those on whom their provision to Ukraine depends spent at least one night in Kharkiv, all necessary decisions would have been made quickly. And I would be ready to go together with them," Kuleba added.
Attack on Ukraine on the night of April 11
That night, terrorists once again resorted to a combined strike against our country. The Lviv region was the main direction of the attack.
Overall, the enemy used 82 aerial attack assets:
- 20 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles;
- 6 Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles;
- 12 S-300 guided anti-aircraft missiles;
- 40 Shahed-131/136 strike UAVs;
- 4 Kh-59 guided aviation missiles.
Aviation, air defense missile units of the Air Force, mobile fire groups, and electronic warfare units were engaged in repelling the attack.
In total, 57 aerial targets were destroyed:
- 16 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles;
- 39 Shahed-131/136 strike UAVs;
- 2 Kh-59 guided aviation missiles.
During the mass attack, terrorists destroyed the Trypillia thermal power plant located in the Kyiv region.
