Michael Dawson has claimed that Manchester City have a player who is superior to Kylian Mbappe at this current moment in time.
Considering how much Mbappe has accomplished since his time at AS Monaco, it is only right that not many players in the world are viewed as better than him.
However, a select few City players perhaps find themselves pitted against the Frenchman because they are in red-hot form this season.

Manchester City and their top players, on the other hand, drew 3-3 to a Real Madrid side at the Santiago Bernabeu, who are a superior team to Barcelona based on La Liga’s standings.

“I’m a huge fan of Phil Foden. Not just now, I have been for years”, he said on Sky Sports.
“Yeah, I think he is. I really, really do. I think he’s the best in the world, the way he’s carrying Manchester City, we look around that dressing room and Courtney’s [Sweetman-Kirk] just touched on Rodri, I mean, phenomenal, [Kevin] De Bruyne, [Erling] Haaland, [Bernardo] Silva.”
Dawson continued to praise the £225,000-a-week man, saying, “One person, you look at Pep [Guardiola], the way he scored that goal last night, his reaction, for me, he’s the best out there at this moment in time. What he does for that number 10 position is mind-blowing.”
“People say you’ve got [Jude] Bellingham, you’ve got [Kylian] Mbappe, you’ve got Vinicius Junior. For me, Phil Foden is the best in the world at what he does.”

At 25 years old, Kylian Mbappe has a case to already be regarded as a legend of the game and the fact that Michael Dawson thinks Phil Foden is better than him should bring a smile to his face.
For years on end, there has been a clamour for Foden to make City his team.
Well, nowadays, that is the case and finally, the world is acknowledging how special a player the Englishman is.
At the start of the season, if Phil Foden and Kylian Mbappe were even mentioned in the same sentence, many would have flat-out disallowed any comparisons between the two due to the latter’s standing in the game.
