There’s been a lot of pressure on Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor to resign in recent weeks. But by arguing it’s time for her to step down, Democrats leading the charge are accidentally proving Republicans right on a much bigger issue.
Don’t expect it to matter. An honest media would be the first to point this out, holding Democrats to account for an absurd double standard. If they did their jobs, the needle might move against Biden, as the public increasingly recognizes that he is not able to serve a second term into his mid-eighties. Unfortunately, it’s our benighted press core that’s actually leading the charge. It’s just a reminder, Democrats and the corporate media are all on the same team; their only currency is power.
