Shawn Levy, the director of Deadpool & Wolverine, has dropped a major hint that hitmaker Taylor Swift will appear in the new movie.
There has long been speculation that Taylor, 34, could appear as the iconic character Dazzler in the action movie, with rumours now heating up even more following director Shawn Levy chatting about the possibility. The director, 55, recently spoke to Entertainment Tonight while in attendance at CinemaCon in Las Vegas following the convention's Big Screen Achievement Awards.
Shawn, who is also known for his work on Stranger Things, was asked about Taylor's possible involvement in Deadpool & Wolverine, which comes after she was seen with her pal and Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds, 47, and Wolverine star Hugh Jackman, 55, at an NFL game last October.

After getting asked about Taylor's possible involvement, Shawn replied: "That is hardly confirmed nor denied in this interview." And since he addressed the rumours, fans have been reacting on social media.
Taking to X, one person said: "Let's hope they give her some badass role like never seen her before." While another said: "Ok I wont be mad if Taylor Swift ends up playing Dazzler in Deadpool & Wolverine."
A third then added: "I swear if Dazzler isn’t in Deadpool and Wolverine I don’t know what I’ll do, also it would be kind of cool to see Taylor Swift finally play her too."
But prior to Shawn speaking out, another said: "Currently I think that Taylor Swift will not appear as Dazzler in Deadpool and Wolverine But Taylor Swift could still appear in the film and sing a song."
This comes as Taylor Swift fans gear up for the hitmaker's new album, The Tortured Poets Department, which will come out next Friday (April 19). The album is thought to reference the breakdown of her relationship with Joe Alwyn. Taylor is currently dating Travis Kelce from the Kansas City Chiefs, with their romance seemingly going from strength to strength.
