Gogglebox newbies Teresa and Anita are “bringing smiles and fun to millions” as they join the TV-loving Channel 4 cast line-up. The duo are part of singing group, Pop Voices, who feel “so proud”.

Gogglebox’s Teresa and Anita ‘bring smiles’
Married couple Teresa and Anita joined Gogglebox in March 2024. They appear to be huge fans of the outdoors and often share snaps of their two cockapoo pet dogs and horses, as well as stunning scenery.
While Anita loves to knit in front of the telly, she shared the announcement their first episode had aired and friends couldn’t get enough. One loved one said she “expected them to be holding hands.”
Anita wrote on Facebook, “Thank you everyone who has sent such lovely messages via text, messenger or WhatsApp. It’s been overwhelmingly in a very nice way. I’ve been speechless………for once. Thanks again.”
‘Proud’ choir group duo make fame
Choir singing group Pop Voices, based in Solihull, shared a post dedicated to Teresa and Anita. They said they’re “so proud of their members making their debut on Gogglebox last night” on March 30.
They swiftly added to the Facebook post, “You were amazing ladies and so pleased you can bring the smiles and fun to millions of viewers the way you do in our choir sessions.”

Inside the couple’s Solihull life
Teresa and Anita don’t go on social media often, but they live a quiet life in Solihull, Birmingham with their dog, nattering away on the sofa while knitting and gossiping about the latest TV series and films.
They often attend singing choir lessons in their spare time. When asked what she’s knitting – another side hobby – Anita jokily replied, “A jumper for me. Probably won’t fit. They never do.”
It appears Teresa and Anita are football fans, with one close friend warning Teresa, “Don’t mention Villa or your popularity may plummet,” while Anita shared a walking football group on her page.
