Prince William and his eldest son, Prince George, shared a father-son bonding moment at an Aston Villa football match on Friday, April 12. The future monarchs are said to be "keen" Aston Villa fans, with the Prince of Wales developing a passion for the team when he was a kid in the 1980s and 90s. George is "following in his Dad's footsteps" with his own love for the team.

The duo took this moment to share a bond with one another as Kate, Princess of Wales, continues to receive preventative chemotherapy treatments for an unknown type of cancer.

The cute outing also follows the future king's weekend night on the town with Carole Middleton. According to royal expert Richard Eden, the unlikely duo popped into a north Norfolk, England, establishment at a time when both are dealing with the future queen's cancer treatments — and Carole's "massive debt" from her failed business.

Prince William and Carole Middleton 'have always been close,' according to a Wales family insider. MEGA

He just walked in and through the pub," an onlooker spilled. "He appeared to be with Carole Middleton."

The Wales royal household is currently based at Amner Hall on the Sandringham Estate as Princes George and Louis, along with Princess Charlotte, wrap up their school Easter holidays. The 19th-century, Georgian-style mansion is known for being the king and queen-in-waiting's favorite of all their retreats thanks in part to nearby Norfolk residents being used to living around the royals.

This led Eden to take a swipe at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle by sharing: "Prince Harry said he and Meghan fled Britain in 2020 'fearing for our lives,' yet his brother Prince William seems able to enjoy a pretty normal life."

This news comes after the Middleton family matriarch was praised for her ability to hold the family together during numerous crises.

The Prince and Princess of Wales are reportedly 'strongly considering' sending Prince George to Eton College to follow in his dad's footsteps. MEGA

This news also comes as Prince William and Kate, Princess of Wales, are currently trying to decide where to send Prince George to school after his prep school, Lambrook, runs its course. The future king and queen are said to be going back and forth between Eton College — William's alma mater — and Marlborough College, which is where Kate graduated from. However, the king and queen-in-waiting are reportedly also considering another option.

But amid their decision on his schooling, George's parents are also carefully balancing his public profile.

"Before he was even made a page at the Coronation, William and Catherine wanted to ask him if he felt comfortable about it because he was clearly the youngest. It turned out he was keen," royal author Robert Hardman told an outlet. "I think it's very much parents first. If he was asked to, he'd be delighted, but I think this is very much parent-driven."
