Rio Ferdinand has now predicted every single Manchester City Premier League game for the rest of this season

Rio Ferdinand has predicted all of Manchester City’s remaining Premier League fixtures this season, starting with Luton Town.

Manchester City return to Premier League competition on Saturday as they welcome relegation battlers Luton Town to the Etihad Stadium.

Pep Guardiola’s side played out a thrilling 3-3 draw with Real Madrid on Tuesday with Bernardo Silva, Phil Foden and Josko Gvardiol grabbing the goals.

Now the Blues once again have a chance to pile pressure on their title rivals as they play first this weekend.

City are embroiled in a competitive title race and currently sit third behind both Arsenal and Liverpool, though only by a single point.

With seven fixtures each remaining, it’s all to play for.

Rio Ferdinand predicts Man City’s remaining fixtures

Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has predicted all three sides’ remaining games to see who he believes will win the league.

Speaking in a video on TNT Sports’ YouTube channel, the retired centre-back predicted Arsenal would win four games but suffer defeats to Tottenham and United.

He then predicted Liverpool to win three games but to be held to draws by Fulham, Everton and Aston Villa.

Finally, Ferdinand gave his City predictions, starting with a 4-0 win over Luton.

He then said City would beat Brighton 3-1, Nottingham Forest 2-1, Wolves 3-1, Fulham 3-1 and West Ham 2-0 before being held 2-2 by Tottenham.

As a result of his predictions, Ferdinand believes City will clinch their fourth Premier League title in a row by three points.

It surely won’t be that easy

Though City’s remaining fixtures do look rather favourable, it surely won’t be that easy for the Blues.

What the fixture list doesn’t include is the fact City are still competing on three fronts with their FA Cup and Champions League exploits and the squad is feeling the strain.

Rodri has already admitted he’s in dire need of a rest and injuries are continuing to mount up.

City have shown they are more than capable of going on lengthy winning streaks and they haven’t lost since December.

But if they manage to pull it off this time around it would be one of their greatest achievements.
