Bruno Fernandes not happy with teenage teammate for what he did in 64th minute vs Bournemouth

Manchester United were poor once more during a 2-2 draw with Bournemouth on Saturday, with two teammates having a falling out.

For Erik ten Hag, there will have been little positives to take from his side’s 2-2 draw with Bournemouth on Saturday.

Manchester United were poor in defence and looked clueless on the ball which is something we’ve all grown used to, but remain hopeful of it changing.

Despite scoring twice, the draw was completely undeserved as Bournemouth carved United open relentlessly.

Only a brace from Bruno Fernandes avoided a loss which would’ve been Ten Hag’s 13th of this Premier League campaign.

The Dutch manager will also have been concerned as he watched his key players having little spats on the field. Here’s what happened.

What Bruno Fernandes was spotted doing to Kobbie Mainoo

As tempers were flying and the United players were visibly getting more and more stressed out, Fernandes was spotted having a go at one teammate.

It was Sky Sports‘ commentator Alan Smith who spotted it, as he commented that the United captain was moaning at Kobbie Mainoo in the 64th minute.

The context is that Fernandes was keen to take a free-kick quickly, only for his teammates to not have as quick a brain which left him frustrated and moaning at his 18-year-old teammate.

However, after the game, we doubt he’ll mind too much with the set of events leading to United winning that penalty which Fernandes levelled things up from.

But the pair were photographed in conversation post-game, hopefully rebuilding those bridges ahead of the FA Cup semi-final.

Bruno was the only Manchester United player to perform

On a tricky day of football, most of the squad looked exhausted and ultimately, miles off it but Fernandes didn’t and put in a real captain’s display.

Despite not being at his best, he was relentless in his running and pressing and left nothing on the pitch in a two-goal outing which brings his tally for the season to 12.

There is something seriously wrong with this team.

It just shows how big of a job Ineos have on their hands this coming summer and beyond.

Next weekend is the final chance this season for the players to experience some success by thrashing Coventry and entering the final of the FA Cup. But can they even do that?
