Things got a bit out of hand in Saturday evening’s baseball game between Florida State and Miami. Video emerged on X of what was allegedly a Hurricanes player throwing a ball toward the Seminoles dugout that nearly hit pitcher Andrew Armstrong.

Several Florida State players emerged from the dugout in protest and McGwire Holbrook was even ejected as a result. You can view video of the incident below.

Thankfully, no one was injured as a result of the ball being thrown toward the dugout. Florida State entered the top of the ninth with a 6-3 advantage and allowed only one run to go on to win 6-4. Miami had runners on first and second when Lorenzo Carrier lined out to the shortstop to end the game.

The victory completed a series sweep for the Seminoles, who also won Thursday and Friday. They improved to 30-5 (10-5 ACC) on the season.

Florida State got off to a quick start and led 5-1 by the end of the third inning. The Seminoles used a two-run homer from Cam Smith in the third to earn their largest lead of the game. Smith finished tied for the team high with two hits along with James Tibbs III and Max Williams.
