Adam Idah has the Celtic fans all saying the same thing after display vs St Mirren

Celtic’s win over St Mirren puts clear daylight between Rangers at the top of the table and the pressure on the Ibrox club as they head to Dingwall this afternoon.

It seems that with Brendan Rodgers getting almost all of his big players back Celtic is hitting a nice bit of form at such a crucial part of the season.

Now that Celtic have fulfilled all their fixtures prior to the top six split, they can sit back and relax knowing that their rivals now have two must-win games to play to keep themselves close at the top of the table.

Reo Hatate, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Callum McGregor are now all back in the Celtic first-team after recent injuries and players like Kyogo Furuhashi, Matt O’Riley and Alistair Johnston are also finding some really good form.

But it was Adam Idah who had all the Celtic fans talking as the big Irish international striker hit the back of the net once again in the 3-0 win over St Mirren.

Coming on as a second-half sub, Idah has found himself relegated to the bench due to the resurgence of Kyogo Furuhashi in front of goal.

The Japanese striker has been favoured to start by Brendan Rodgers lately and he has not let his manager down. And neither has Idah for that matter.

With seven goals and two assists in 12 appearances including his superb Ibrox strike, Idah nodded in Celtic’s third yesterday and had all the Hoops fans sending a message to the board exactly what they must do with him this summer. [Transfermarkt]
