Lebanon said on Sunday it had reopened the country's airspace after its closure the night before due to a massive drone and missile attack by Iran against Israel.

The Lebanese civil aviation authority said Lebanon's airspace had been reopened to all incoming, departing and transiting aircraft, according to sources at the Rafik al-Hariri International Airport.

The Lebanese national carrier Middle East Airlines said in a statement that flights to London and Dubai would take off according to schedule.
