Ukraine has condemned Iran's mass attack on Israel, stating that Tehran's actions risk escalating the situation in the Middle East, according to the statement from the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"Such actions are absolutely unacceptable, irresponsible, and carry the risk of unprecedented further escalation of the situation in the Middle East," the statement said.

Ukraine believes that efforts should be made to prevent the confrontation from escalating into a larger regional conflict.

"This attack once again underscores the importance of mobilizing all forces of the free world to defend the global boundaries of democracy," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated.

Iranian attack on Israel

Iran attacked Israel overnight on April 14th. The attack lasted about 5 hours. Some drones and rockets were launched from Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Yemen. The United States, Britain, and Jordan assisted in repelling the attack.

It is known that Israel was attacked by about 300 drones and rockets. The Israeli army stated that most of the aerial targets were intercepted.

Iran claimed that the attack on Israel was "completed," and the alleged targets were supposedly achieved.

As of the morning, there were reports of 31 casualties in Israel. The United States and the UN Secretary-General condemned Iran's attack, and US President Joe Biden stated that the G7 would discuss a possible response.
