‘It's really sad’: Neil Lennon disappointed at what happened to Liverpool’s ‘super talent’ vs Crystal Palace

Liverpool have suffered a blow in their quest to beat Arsenal and Manchester City to the Premier League title this season.

Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool are the three teams aiming to become the champions of England this campaign.

I think that the Premier League title race will go down to the wire, but Liverpool have their work cut out after the defeat to Crystal Palace at Anfield on Sunday.

The Reds went down 1-0 to Palace in the Premier League. It came after a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Atalanta in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday evening.

Liverpool also suffered an injury against Palace. Conor Bradley had to come off in the opening minutes of the second half due to an ankle injury.

Bradley started the match for Liverpool. Manager Jurgen Klopp deployed the 20-year-old at right-back.

Former Celtic manager and BBC Sport pundit Neil Lennon rates Bradley highly, and he was disappointed to see the Northern Ireland international right-back come off.

Neil Lennon gives his verdict on Liverpool right-back Conor Bradley

Lennon said about Bradley on BBC Radio 5 Live: “It’s really sad to see Conor Bradley go off, he’s a super talent and a big player for Liverpool already.”

Conor Bradley is a rising Liverpool star

In my opinion, Conor Bradley is one of the best young players around and is a rising star for Liverpool.

Bradley is only 20, and he has already turned in some brilliant performances for Liverpool when playing instead of Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Alexander-Arnold is one of the best right-backs on the planet and is a world-class player. The England international plays when he is fit and available.

So, it is not going to be easy for Bradley to play week in and week out next season, but he is very young now and is just starting his career.

I do not think that the Northern Ireland international is at the stage yet where he has to play week in and week out. He can take his time.
