This photograph is of the Catleughs clothing shop on Norfolk Street in the town's shopping centre.
Perhaps you might remember Catleughs as the place to buy your school blazer?
The photograph shows the decorative shop front with two glazed island display windows on either side of a central entrance.
Customers to the shop would walk across a mosaic floor inlaid with the name of the store.
The shop was founded in 1881 and Mr Catleugh became a prominent local citizen and alderman.
Some local residents might also remember the Alderman Catleugh School in the town which opened in 1957 and merged with West Norfolk and King's Lynn High School for Girls in 1979 to become Springwood High School.
The site of the Catleughs store is now occupied by Holland and Barrett.
