Five 2025 Texas commits included in the latest On300

Five of the six members of the Texas Longhorns’ 2025 recruiting class were included in the most recent On300.

Texarkana (Texas) Pleasant Grove EDGE Lance Jackson was the highest ranked recruit currently committed to the Longhorns. He checked in as the No. 37 overall prospect and the No. 4 EDGE. No. 37 is up two spots from his previous ranking of No. 39.

Behind Jackson was Dallas (Texas) Skyline linebacker Elijah Barnes. The newest Texas commit, Barnes was ranked as the No. 118 player in the country. On3 previously ranked him as the No. 180 overall prospect.

Tyler (Texas) Chapel Hill running back Rickey Stewart followed with a No. 213 overall ranking, a short fall from his previous No. 197 standing.

Not far behind at No. 216 overall was Saraland (Ala.) quarterback K.J. Lacey, who dropped from No. 192 overall to his current standing.

Melbourne (Fla.) Eau Gallie defensive lineman Brandon Brown checked in at No. 219, a short drop from his previous spot of No. 205.

The only commit not included in the updated On300 was Calhoun (Ga.) tight end Emaree Winston.
