2024 NFL Draft: ESPN announces crew for coverage

ESPN announced the broadcasting crew that will cover the 2024 NFL Draft. Reece Davis will lead the way and will be joined by notable personalities such as Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard and Nick Saban. The rest of the lineup includes Laura Rutledge, Field Yates and Pete Thamel. This team will be seen on the draft coverage airing on ABC.

The ESPN team includes Mike Greenberg, Mel Kiper Jr. Booger McFarland, Louis Riddick, Molly McGrath and Adam Schefter. Additionally, ESPN will have six reporters stationed at teams facilities across the country – including at the locations of the teams with the top three picks. The ESPN reporters are Courtney Cronin (Chicago Bears), Jeff Darlington (Minnesota Vikings), Kimberly A. Martin (Washington Commanders), Sal Paolantonio (New York Giants), Mike Reiss (New England Patriots) and Ed Werder (Denver Broncos).

The first night of the draft will start on Thursday, April 25 at 8 p.m. ET. The second night will be on Friday, April 26 at 7 p.m. ET and the final day will be on Saturday, April 27, at 12 p.m. ET. The first two nights will air on ESPN and ABC. On the third day, ESPN’s presentation will be simulcast on ABC.

Along with the traditional coverage, ESPN is providing a third option –The Pat McAfee Show Draft Spectacular – that will air on YouTube, TikTok, the ESPN App and ESPN+ on Thursday, April 26. Pat McAfee and his crew will give their take on the draft and will have special guests that will be announced in the coming days.
