Royal fans spot Meghan Markle's cheeky tribute to Prince Harry in her polo outfit

Royal watchers are convinced Meghan Markle paid tribute to her husband Prince Harry in a cheeky way when she joined him at the polo last week.

The Duchess looked chic in an ivory dress that featured a peekaboo cutout as she attended the Royal Salute Polo Challenge to benefit Prince Harry's charity, Sentebale on Friday.

And eagle-eyed fans think her choice was a subtle shoutout to her red-headed royal husband. The halter-neck design is from Heidi Merrick, retailing for $515 (£413) - and it is aptly named the 'Ginger' dress. Meghan completed her look with Aquazzura heels, vintage Chanel jewellery and a Valentino purse.

The couple put on a tactile display at the polo event with Meghan seen planting a kiss on her husband as she presented him with the winners' trophy.

The Duchess was caught up in an awkward moment at the Miami polo event, however, when she seemingly asked a woman not to pose next to Harry.

The couple were spotted smiling and walking hand in hand ahead of the fundraising match - with a film crew in tow. For the event, Harry captained the Royal Salute Sentebale Team against the Grand Champions Team. His team won on the day and Meghan presented her husband with the trophy before they kissed in front of everyone at the event.

But in footage that has emerged since, it appears that Meghan requested a woman in a white dress to move to the middle of the group and away from her husband. In a clip circulating online, Harry kept his arm around Meghan while she spoke to the lady and seemingly insisted that she move away from Harry for the photo opportunity.

The awkward exchange lasted for several moments as everybody else shuffled around them, and then as Meghan insisted on standing beside her husband, the woman was forced to duck under the trophy to find her spot on stage, with her then saying something to the Duchess.

Commenting on the blunder, one person penned on X: "They are both so awkward." While a second said: "This is just so cringeworthy!!"

Following their appearance at the polo, Harry and Meghan enjoyed a night of luxury at the Four Seasons Hotel in Palm Beach, where suites can go for over £6,000 a night.

The couple were spotted walking through the pool area on Saturday April 13, with mum-of-two Meghan wearing white capri pants and a black top, while Harry kept it casual in a black tee and what appeared to be blue chinos and sneakers.
