The Mega Millions jackpot for Tuesday’s lottery drawing has climbed to $148 million with a cash option of $66.1 million.
The drawing will be held at 10:59 p.m. and televised on WABC-7 in the New York City area and Fox 29 in the Philadelphia area. NJ.com will publish the winning numbers immediately following the drawing.
Friday’s winning numbers were: 1, 12, 14, 18 and 66. The Mega Ball drawn was 16 with a Megaplier of 2X.
No one across the county hit Friday’s $1 million jackpot. Second-prize, $1 million tickets were sold in West Seneca, New York as well as Jonestown, Pennsylvania.aspx) and Missouri. A ticket worth $2 million was bought in North Carolina because the winner spent an extra $1 for the Megaplier option.
Mega Millions drawings are held on Tuesday and Friday in 45 states, along with Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Tickets are $2 each.
Theodds of a $2 ticket winning the Mega Millions jackpot by matching five numbers and the Mega Ball are 302,575,350 to 1.
Players have a 1 in 12,607,306 chance of a ticket matching five numbers but not the Mega Ball and winning at least $1 million. The odds of matching four numbers plus the Mega Ball for a prize valued of at least $10,000 are 931,001 to 1.
Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot is worth an estimated $78 million with a cash option of $36.5 million.
