Alison Hammond's rarely-seeon teenage son Aidan has made a surprise announcement as he is set to achieve a significant milestone.
The little-known son of the This Morning star has announced that he will be making his festival DJ debut at Camp Bestival in Dorset later this summer, taking stage in the iconic Bollywood tent on Saturday night.
Aidan has occasionally graced our TV screens alongside his famous mum, and took to Instagram to express his excitement about the upcoming performance and thank Camp Bestival for the opportunity.
"I AM PLAYING AT MY FIRST EVER FESTIVAL @campbestival I will be playing on Saturday 27th of July in the Bollywood tent from 7-8pm so if you like house music get your tickets and come see me play big thanks to @campbestival," he wrote.
Although This Morning viewers are well-acquainted with Alison on their TV screens, Aidan himself has been making strides in his own career as a DJ specialising in house music. He has been spinning beats for over a year now.

Reacting to Aidan's announcement about his festival debut, Camp Bestival expressed their excitement by saying: "We are so excited to announce that Aidan Hammond will be joining us at Camp Bestival Dorset this summer with his festival DJ debut. Son of TV's Alison Hammond, Aidan has been DJ'ing for over a year, captivating audiences with his infectious beats and electrifying performances."
The festival has teased that Aidan could be joined by a "special surprise guest" as he takes to the decks. "He'll be DJ'ing in the legendary Bollywood tent on Saturday night and is rumoured to have a 'special surprise guest' joining him too...." they revealed.
Aidan's latest career move has his Instagram followers showering him with encouragement and excitement. "Live your dreams," one fan commented, while another chimed in, "That's ace! ! Love it there,". "Fantastic Aiden! ! ! ! You'll definitely get the crowd going," cheered another supporter.
This announcement follows a touching tribute from Aidan's mum Alison, who celebrated her son's 19th birthday in February with immense pride. Alison took to Instagram with a loving video montage of Aidan, showcasing moments of him DJing and enjoying time with friends.
"Just so proud of this young man ! This is 19 ! I love you son @aidanhammond555" she captioned the celebratory post.
Alison's followers echoed her sentiments, with one saying: "He's so lovely Al. I'm not surprised you're proud. What a fab mum he has xxx".
