One Celtic loanee who has diverted eyes towards his progress this term is Bosun Lawal, who has registered six goals and two assists in 45 appearances at Fleetwood Town [Transfermarkt].
Fleetwood manager Charlie Adam has tipped the Republic of Ireland Under-21 international to go on and establish himself at Parkhead, stating earlier this year: “The longer he’s in the building for us, from now until the end of the season, he will definitely make a difference to our team.
“He’s a top talent, but hopefully, with the journey we’re on and the support that we can give him, he goes back to Celtic next season, and he goes and competes for a position because I believe he’s got the right credentials to be a Celtic player.”
With Rodgers keen to develop internal prospects during his second spell, the stars could have aligned nicely for Lawal to regularly feature in the senior squad come 2024/25.

Making significant strides in midfield, Lawal netted again for Fleetwood last night away to Peterborough United, opening the scoring in the first minute of their eventual 4-1 defeat at the Weston Homes Stadium.
