Jurgen Klopp is about to unleash his own ‘world-class’ Kevin De Bruyne who can save Liverpool

There is a player who is like Kevin De Bruyne at Liverpool and who Jurgen Klopp is about to unleash for the Reds.

There is no denying it’s been a bleak April month for Liverpool so far. Jurgen Klopp’s side have really struggled with results.

From a disappointing draw with Manchester United, to a shock defeat against Atalanta and an even more surprising defeat to Crystal Palace at home.

There are now two ways about it Liverpool need to quickly turn things around. They may face an impossible challenge now both in the Europa League and the Premier League.

However, Klopp’s side is still in with a chance, and until that is the case they will have to continue to fight and believe.

Especially with a player of Trent Alexander-Arnold’s calibre coming back into the side.

How Trent Alexander-Arnold can help fix Liverpool’s problems

Because of Conor Bradley’s brilliant form, Liverpool haven’t felt the absence of Trent Alexander-Arnold as acutely as before.

But the reality is that Alexander-Arnold has been sorely missed. He is simply a special talent. Someone who can unlock defences and win games single-handedly for the Reds.

We’ve seen this season how many times he has secured game-winning points for Liverpool. From his equaliser away at the Etihad to his winner in the 4-3 thriller against Fulham at Anfield.

Even against Crystal Palace, when he was introduced for about half an hour, Liverpool had a lot more control in the game and probably created their best chances of the match.

Now that he is back fit, Klopp can finally unleash him and if he does, Alexander-Arnold could have the same impact as Kevin De Bruyne since he has returned to Manchester City.

Why Trent Alexander-Arnold is world-class and like Kevin De Bruyne

With De Bruyne returning from his injury earlier this year, Manchester City have also transformed and become a lot more difficult to beat.

It is partly thanks to the Belgian’s phenomenal form that City are now top of the Premier League table.

Alexander-Arnold is more than capable of making a similar impact. There’s a reason why Jermaine Defoe called him ‘world-class’ recently and likened him to De Bruyne.

The numbers prove it as well. According to Wyscout, he ranks in number one spot for the following metrics in the Premier League this season:

  • Passes to the final third (13.78 per 90)
  • Passes to the penalty area (6.03 per 90)
  • Progressive passes (14.87 per 90)
  • Through passes (3.16 per 90)
